Vera Lucille Blomstrom,98, of Lincoln, died March 9,2019. Born in Saunders Co., Nebraska on July 11, 1920 to Earl and Grace Sutton. She was a graduate of Waverly Nebraska High School and was married to Orville Blomstrom on January 24, 1942. She was very active in the community of Waverly for many years and was a member of the Bethlehem Covenant Church of Waverly. She retired to Legacy Terrace in Lincoln in 2009.
Vera was preceded in death by her husband Orville, her brother Omer Sutton of Waverly, and her sister Bernice Lohr of Greenville, Michigan.
Her surviving family members include son Gary Blomstrom of Bailey, CO, daughter-in-law Lois (Kluckhohn) Blomstrom of Bailey, CO., sister Eve Anderson of Waverly, grand-daughter Jamie (Chad) Becker of Littleton, CO., grand-son Matthew Blomstrom of Littleton, Co., great-grand-son Ryan Becker, great-grand-daughter Addison Becker and numerous nephews and nieces.
Celebration of life: 11:00 a.m. Saturday (3-16-19) Bethlehem Covenant Church, 18703 N, 98’I, Waverly, NE. Pastor Dan Olson officiating. Burial at Bethlehem Covenant Cemetery. Visitation at church one hour prior to service.
Memorial contributions can be given to Bethlehem Covenant Church or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
