Abbey is a graduate of Des Moines Area Community College Mortuary Science Program, where she obtained her Iowa Funeral Directing license and practiced in Des Moines, IA.

Background: Marshall grew up in Ponca, NE and was introduced to the funeral business in 2008 after twenty years in the construction industry and seven years as a City of Topeka Firefighter in Topeka, KS. He attended Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in Pittsburgh, PA, earning his Associate of Applied Science in Mortuary Science in 2013.
Family: Spouse Mike and son Nate
Background: Todd grew up in Kansas, and graduated from McPherson College with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and German. Todd spent many years as an organist at a number of churches. He attended Dallas Institute of Funeral Service, and graduated with an Associate of Applied Sciences degree. He has been a licensed funeral director for over 25 in both Kansas and Oklahoma. Todd returned to full-time funeral service and moved to Lincoln in 2016 after he and Mike sold their flower shop and event rental company in Oklahoma City.

Kimberly was born and raised in Lincoln. She graduated from Lincoln Pius X High School. She then attended college at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln and Kansas City Kansas Community College earning her degree in Mortuary Science. She is a member of St. John’s Catholic Church. Kimberly also works part time at the locally owned, Stockwell Pharmacy.

Jennifer works full time as a therapist with adolescents and individuals with developmental disabilities.

Brenda Moes, BA, PLADC
Family: Daughters MacKenzie and Alexis
Brenda has worked in behavioral health services for the last 20 years at Bryan Health. She has her BA in Human Services and is a Provisionally Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. In March of 2017 she brought an established support group that have groups throughout the United States, called Parents of Addicted Loved Ones, to Nebraska. Her work with this group and with the Independence Center motivated her to seek a way to bring a support group to Lincoln for friends and families who have lost a loved one to substance use. Her passion lies in working in the field of prevention, treatment and providing family care as relates to substance use disorders.
Affiliations: Lincoln City Church, Lincoln Southeast Drug and Alcohol Prevention Coalition, Faith Partners, and Parents of Addicted Loved Ones.
