Mark has been involved in funeral service since 1986. He strongly believes in the value of open casket viewing.

Background: Dwight has over 60 years’ experience as a funeral director, licensed in both Nebraska and Iowa.

Organizations / Memberships: Member, Christ’s Place Church, volunteering in Guest Services and Prayer Team; past member of Lincoln Downtown Rotary Club #14 with twenty-two years perfect attendance and Paul Harris Fellow; National Societies of the Sons of the American Revolution.

Background: Steve is originally from Ceresco, NE. He began his professional career in 1976 at Metcalf Funeral Home and joined Roper & Sons Funeral Home in 2000. Steve is a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science in Funeral Service Education.

Joined Roper & Sons in 2008.

Family: Wife: Kimberly Wozny; parents: Tim and Sheryl Wozny, Lexington, NE; brother, Jeremy Wozny, DPT, Lexington, NE.

Background: Justin grew up in Lexington, NE and began working at the local funeral home as a junior in high school. He attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Justin is a graduate of the KCKCC Mortuary Science Program. He completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Business in 2007.

Background: Abbey grew up in Lexington, NE and attended the University of Nebraska-Kearney where she received a degree in Exercise Science/Sports Nutrition. Abbey is a graduate of Des Moines Area Community College Mortuary Science Program, where she obtained her Iowa Funeral Directing license and practiced in Des Moines, IA.

Family: Children, Madilyn and Chandler.

Background: Marshall grew up in Ponca, NE and was introduced to the funeral business in 2008 after twenty years in the construction industry and seven years as a City of Topeka Firefighter in Topeka, KS. He attended Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in Pittsburgh, PA, earning his Associate of Applied Science in Mortuary Science in 2013.
