Rose M. Hauptman, 86, of Lincoln, passed away February 28, 2019. Rose was born on August 25, 1932 in Herndon, Kansas to Alfred and Eleanora (Barenberg) Marintzer.
She married Loren Hauptman in 1957, and raised 6 children. She was a homemaker and member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Rose enjoyed gardening, spending time with family and entertaining anyone who stopped by to visit.
Family members include two sons, Kevin Hauptman and Brad (Norie) Hauptman, 4 daughters, Bev (Tyler) Sprouse, Joyce Lynch, Lori (Dirk) Maley, Kelli (Kirk) Bryant all of Lincoln; sister, Jean Huss of Herndon, KS and brother, Francis “Sonny” (Shirley) Marintzer of Milligan, NE; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents and husband, Loren Hauptman.
Rosary: 7:00 pm Sunday, March 3rd at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 3128 S Street.
Memorial Mass: 10:30 am Monday, March 4, 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
