William “Bill” R. Wozny, 69 of Lincoln, passed away Saturday (3/18/17). Bill courageously battled cancer for 3 years. He was born (4/25/47) in Columbus, Neb. to Raymond and Agnes (Heinz) Wozny. Bill worked at Goodyear, retiring after 30 years. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran who served as an Airborne Ranger with the Tropic Lightning Division. He enjoyed being outdoors hunting or fishing, and also cooking. Bill was an avid Husker fan who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends
Family members include; wife, Helen; sons Jeremy (Kellie) Wozny; Jamey (Deb) Wozny; Step-children Britany (Dennis) Grady; Scott (Marci) Davis, all of Lincoln; 8 grandchildren/step-grandchildren, Sydney, Sara, Joseph, Jacob, Samuel, Paige, Emma, and Connor; 3 sisters Dorian, Mary and Theresa; His dear black labrador, Duece. Numerous extended family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Larry and Joseph.
There will be no services at this time.
Memorials may be given to the Capital Humane Society.
No viewing/Cremation.
