Wade H. Hamor, 92, Lincoln, NE, died Sunday (6-27-10). Born (7-30-17) in Grinnell, Iowa to Jesse A. and Agusta (Helm) Hamor. Ret. 1977. Biologist, (U.S.D.A.) United State Dept. of Agriculture, 21 yrs. WWII U.S. Army Veteran and Purple Heart recipient. Member: Vine United Church of Christ, American Legion Post #3, American Association of Retired Persons, Retired Officer’s Association, Soil Conservation Society, Organization of Professional Employees – Dept. of Agriculture. Past member, Wildlife Society and American Association for Advancement of Science.

Family members include wife, Margaret ‘Peg’; special daughter: Trudy Lynne Hamor and partner Joi Colamonico, Lincoln; brothers: Clarence Hamor, Inverness, FL, Paul Hamor, Grinnell, IA; nephews: Larry Hamor, Moberly, MO, Michael Hamor, Gilman, IA, Robert Hamor, Ralston,NE, John Hannay, Phoenix, AZ; nieces: Linda Hamor Duncan, Omaha, Mary Hannay O’Connor, Cedar Rapids, IA, Brenda Hamor Spilios, Inverness, FL, Sandy Hamor Bodine, Rochester, MN. Preceded in death by parents.

Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Thursday (7-1-10) Vine United Church of Christ, 1800 Twin Ridge Rd., Lincoln, NE 68506 Pastor Renae Koehler officiating.

Memorials to the church. Body was donated to the Nebraska Anatomical Board.
