Vivian R. Hustad, 87, Lincoln, died Monday (9-14-09). Born (6-1-22) in Colchester, Illinois to Mark and Maude (Louderman) Roberson. Homemaker. Member: First Baptist Church. As Pastor’s wife of 45 years, affectionately known as “Reverend Mother”, she served a mentoring role for Bible study and youth groups. She was a devoted wife and mother, a wonderful grandmother, and a faithful prayer warrior.
Family members include sons, daughters-in-law: Stanley and Karen Hustad, Tucson, AZ. Richard Hustad, Charlotte, NC, Dr. Gary and Jane Hustad, Lincoln; granddaughters: Amy, Megan, Heather, Heidi and Kinsey; grandsons: Ron, Peter, Andrew, Mark and Erik; 9 great grandchildren; brother-in-law, sister-in-law: Dr. Don and Ruth Hustad, Chicago, IL; 3 nieces. Preceded in death by husband, Rev. Dr. Wesley P. Hustad, parents, younger sister.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday (9-18-09) Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street
Memorials in lieu of flowers to First Baptist Church, 1340 ‘K’ Street (08) or City Impact, 400 North 27th (03).
Visitation: 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday with family greeting friends from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., funeral home.
