Tyler S. Goodrich

Tyler Scott Goodrich, 36, passed away in Lincoln, Nebraska. Tyler was born on April 2, 1988, in Hastings, NE. He attended Bennet Elementary School and Palmyra High School. After receiving his undergraduate degree from Doane University, he went on to complete a master’s degree from Western Governors University. Tyler also served in the Nebraska Army Reserve. Tyler worked as a reentry specialist with the Lancaster County Corrections Department.

Tyler enjoyed running and completed many marathons and half marathons as well as running in several groups in Lincoln. He always looked forward to volleyball season. Tyler loved desserts and walking his dogs.

He is survived by husband Marshall Vogel, and their sons, mother, Shelley Goodrich, father and step-mother, Lonnie and Pam Goodrich, brother, Jordan (Aislynn), step-sisters and spouses,  Felicia (Travis) Nichelson, Jennie (Will) Ernest, Angela (Bill) Mawley, mother-in-law, Jacki Loomis, father and mother-in-law, Lee and Terry Vogel, sisters-in-law, Timber Lacy, Aley (Ryan) Cristelli, aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Predeceased by Doug Shriver, uncle, Alice Shriver, grandmother, Elaine Goodrich, grandmother, Donald Goodrich, grandfather.

Funeral Service to be held at 10:00 am Thursday, March 20th at First-Plymouth Congregational Church, 2000 D Street, Lincoln, NE 68502.  Rev. Dr. Jim Keck and Juan Carlos Huertas officiating.  Private family burial.

Memorials suggested to The 50 Mile March Foundation, EducationQuest Foundation, or a charity of your choice.
