Sylvia Yoder, 69, of Lincoln passed away on August 19, 2018. Born December 3, 1948 to Orville and Darlene (Jackson) Garling in Belle Plaine, IA. Worked as a teacher for Centennial Public Schools. Member of Holy Savior Lutheran Church, Eastern NE Reading Council, and an organist most all of her life.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Norman Yoder; son, Joe (Gina) Yoder; daughter, Anita Myers; grandchildren, Christian, Dylan (Adrianna), Skylier; great grandchildren, Serenity; brother, Dennis (Barb) Garling. Preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial service 10:30 a.m., Saturday (8-25-18) at Holy Savior Lutheran Church, 4710 N. 10th St., Lincoln. Cremation/ no visitation.
