Sondra served as a United Methodist minister in Beaver Crossing, Ulysses, Milligan, and Elmwood in Nebraska
She graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and received her Master’s in Divinity degree from Saint Paul School of Theology in Kansas City, MO. She was a member of the University of Nebraska Alumni Association, served as chairperson of entertainment for her condo association, and enjoyed reading.
Family members include her sons Scott Atkins and Bradley Atkins (Holly Jo Bills-Atkins); granddaughter JoLee; brother Rodney (Vicki) Berg. Preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of life gathering will be Friday, August 2, 2024, from 2-4 pm at Roper and Sons South Lincoln Chapel, 3950 Hohensee Drive.
