Share a Memory or Condolence
Many childhood memories, family get togethers, having Shirley as a student my first years of teaching country school. Most recently memories of every Sunday (before Covid) worshipping at Vine! I share your sorry, all who loved her

Ronda and Becky-my heart is so heavy with the news about your mother’s death. We shared so many fun adventures/travels. I will hold tight to all of those memories. But I will remember the smile-yes the big smile when I shared the picture of us on the jet ski at Ten Mile Lake,MN! I will miss her! Hugs and love to all

My thoughts are with the family during this difficult time. I worked with Shirley at Hillcrest Country club during my high school and college years. Her smile was so contagious and she was such a caring person, a mother figure to all of us. Shirley was someone who was kind to everyone, I know she will be missed by so many!!!
– Jamie Spurlock
Rhonda and family, my sincere condolences. When I began at Hillcrest in 2000, Shirley was the very first person to greet me and she never stop looking out for me, coaching me and caring for me. That is the person she was, strong, smart and in charge. She let you know if you were doing things your way or the Hillcrest way, and it was only one way… the “Hillcrest Way”. She will alway have lasting legacy at Hillcrest and I will remember her fondly.

I worked at Hillcrest Country Club from 1968 to 1976. Shirley was the office manager, and just a wonderful and caring person—to the employees, but to all the members too. She was the “face” of Hillcrest with her office just past the entryway to the clubhouse. She would acknowledge everyone with her typical smile. Our prayers and deepest sympathies to her family.

Such a nice lady with a lovely smile. She will be missed.
