Shawn C. VanArsdall, 43, of Lincoln, passed away November 16, 2020. Born October 4, 1977 in Lincoln, NE to Daniel R. and Jenifer J. (Ems) VanArsdall.
Shawn loved raising his son Trevor. He always enjoyed going over to his parent’s house for dinner, loved family get-togethers, and spending time with friends and family. He was honest, hardworking, would help out anyone, was very vocal, and would speak his mind. He worked at American Inn Hotel.
Shawn loved all kinds of sports, especially NASCAR, Buffalo Bills, bowling, street racing, camping, fishing and jet skiing.
Family members include his son Trevor VanArsdall (Taylor Willnow); parents Dan and Jeni VanArsdall; sister Shannon VanArsdall; niece Laila Al-Mugotir; aunts, uncles, cousins and his beloved pet “Spike”. Preceded in death by his grandparents.
Visitation: 4-6 pm Wednesday (11-18-20) at Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street
A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday (11-19-20) at Fairview Cemetery.
