I wouldn’t even know where to begin on my memories of Sally. I knew her in childhood through high school and college. She was one of my childhood best friends, and the maid of honor at my wedding. Coincidentally we both married our high school sweethearts at the young age of 19, just a few months apart, and both pursued our passion in nursing. Though time and distance pulled us apart, she is someone I knew was always there. If we met together years apart it was as if no time had passed. I wish I would have had more time. But I know she is now pain free and at peace, in the arms of our Lord. Love you Rabbit

Sally asked to see me one last time a few days before she died. It was an effort for her to talk, she wanted to express how much she loved working with us. She touched so many lives in 15 years. Over a thousand patients of mine over that time, not to mention patients of my partners either helping out or if I was seeing a patient for someone who was gone. She met their family members, friends who may have accompanied them as well. She was unfailingly kind and caring and, 100% of us knew that. No matter how stressful the day, her care was not affected. Everyone knew she cared for them. A shining example of how to live life.

I only knew Sally as a nurse at LIMA, but I’ll always remember her as the nicest, kindest person I’ve ever encountered. I’m terribly sorry to hear of her passing. My heart goes out to all of her loved ones.

My heart breaks for Sally and her family. Sally was the kindest soul I’ve ever encountered . As Dr. Reida’s nurse, her love of life a NO one was ever kinder, thoughtful, sweet, intelligent, aware, driven, caring, understanding, congenial, strong, showered her faith on all without a word. The world lost an earth angel.
