Rudy was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church, Papillion. He graduated from high school in 1951.
He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Lincoln, NE. Rudy and Judy were married September 22, 1972, Rudy served in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany. He worked as a salesman and in sales management for over 50 years. He enjoyed getting in contact with his customers keeping in touch with some of them even after he retired. Rudy was an avid Husker fan going to many football, volleyball, and basketball games. He was a great one for teasing and always ready with a good joke.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Judith Nordhausen; sister, JoAnn (Bob) Hughes; sons, Steve (Susan) Evers, Jerry Evers, and Larry (Shelia) Evers; daughter, Cathy Murphy, step-son Donald (Bridgette) Morgan; grandchildren, nieces, and nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Marth (Dohse) Evers; brothers, John, Art, Bill and Bob Evers; siters, Evelyn Gosch, Agnes Beck, and Betty Evers.
Memorial service will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church (510 S 33rd St, Lincoln, NE) on Saturday September 14, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. with a visitation one hour prior.
Memorials may be given back to the family for future designation
