What a personality! Full of life and full of the dickens. I started in 1978 and recall that one had to get approval from Ron before lodging someone at the old jail. I remember his big smile and the way he laughed. What impressed me the most was that he could be serious and talk to me and guide me when I needed it, like a father and mentor, throughout his career at LPD. Truly one of the great ones!

RIP to my first cruiser partner. Shared many memories and stories of our work after retirement at breakfast with fellow retires.

Ron was a good man. With humor and the occasional stern voice, he mentored and led lots of younger police officers.
