Obituary

Robert J. Carter

February 24, 1932 - July 17, 2023

Robert J. Carter, sadly left us on July 17, 2023, at the age of 91. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Karen; two sons and their spouses, Jeffrey and Michelle, James and Ellen. Robert was born in St Edward, Nebraska on February 24, 1932, to parents Robert and Lillian Carter. He has two surviving siblings, Ramona and Keith.

Robert was a veteran of the Korean War and graduated from Midland University in Fremont. Robert set his mind to be successful and was a School Supply Salesman for over 30 years.

Robert often spoke about growing up on the family farm. When visiting the farm, Robert could be seen on a tractor in the field or feeding livestock. His heart was never far from where he grew up. Robert loved conversing with everyone and had a wonderful sense of humor. He will be missed by family and friends alike.

Bob and Karen were very dear friends of ours for many years when they lived in Lincoln, and I have such fond memories of times spent with them. My deepest sympathy to Karen, Jeff and James.
