Robert G. Lorenson, 86, of Lincoln, passed away on August 12, 2023. He was born January 12, 1937 to Ralph and Nell (Baumbagh) Lorenson in Avoca, Nebraska. He had a brother and sister, Junior and Arlene and attended Elmwood & Roca Schools.

Bob met the love of his life, Bernice (Martin) and they had three children, Scott, Annette & Doug. He worked for a body shop and then for E&K Drywall. After he retired, he worked for AAA Rental. Bob always enjoyed doing things with the family. Especially down at the cabin. He loved going fishing with family and friends.

Survived by children; daughter Annette (Mark) Dougherty of Alvo; daughter-in-law Cheryl Lorenson of Walton, daughter-in-law and son-in-law Diana Lorenson, Desh & Bryan Desh of Lincoln; 16 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his wife Bernice, parents, sons Scott Lorenson and Doug Lorenson, and brother Junior Lorenson.

Funeral Services: 10:30 a.m., Wednesday August 16, 2023 at Roper and Sons Funeral Home in Waverly, 10851 N 148^thStreet.

Visitation with family members present is Tuesday, August 15, 2023 from 5-7 p.m. at Roper and Sons Funeral Home in Waverly, 10851 N 148^th Street.

Uncle Bob I remember when I was about 13 years old. You came to my folks house and painted the ceilings. You just started spraying the glass in the paint to give it the sparkle effect. I was so fascinated by it. My mom SMILED so much. It was family that built that home. I’m forever grateful to be able to say you were my uncle. Miss you. Tell Aunt Bernice I love and miss her.
