Robert E. “Bob” Martin, 78, of Gretna passed away March 1, 2022. Born March 13, 1943, in Lincoln, NE to Everett “Deac” and Gretchen (Berry) Martin.

Bob spent 30+ years as appraiser and deputy assessor for the Lancaster County Assessor’s Office. He was a member of the International Association of Assessing Officers and Assessors Association of Nebraska.

Family members include his wife Elisa; daughters Kristine (Mark) Bennett, Loveland, CO, Kimberly (Keith) Blackman, Hartford, WI; son Jonathan Martin (special friend Heather Parrott), Lincoln; stepdaughter Megan (Brandon) Bolin, Lincoln; grandchildren Eli, Nathan, Rebekah, and Dylan; sister Suzy (Don) Cook, Kansas City. Preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday (3-8-22) Roper and Sons Waverly Chapel, 10851 N. 148th Street.

Visitation from 4-6 pm Monday at Roper and Sons Waverly Chapel.

Memorials in lieu of flowers to the family for future designation.

Lisa, Im so sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. Bob was a fun guy and kept us all on our toes. For my 21 years on the job he worked with all of us and made us feel like we knew what we were doing. I was always happy to see Bob at meetings and enjoyed his laughter and good humor.
