I was in elementary school when Bob was playing basketball for Falls City High. He and his teammates, Hoot Gibson, Jim Belleau, Les Groff were our heroes. We used to wait outside Pritchard Auditorium for them to arrive for games, and hang around as late as possible for them to leave after a game. Bob was one of my favorite memories, he was always so kind and gracious to us kids, taking time to talk to us and treat us like real people. Great memories of great teams.

I was sorry to read of Mr. Norton’s passing. He was my typing teacher at Nebraska City High School. I enjoyed my times with him. I remember him taping thumb tacks on my typewriter to keep me from resting my hands on the typewriter. Great memories and laughs. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.
