Obituary

Riley Jason Kubik

April 5, 1999 - September 25, 2017

Riley Jason Kubik

Riley Jason Kubik, 18, of Lincoln was greeted by our Lord unexpectedly on September 25, 2017. Born April 5, 1999, in Lincoln, NE to Don and Joann (Stevens) Kubik. Riley’s life was way too short, but those who were touched by him understood and know how much joy he brought to us. He had a true passion for the arts, especially music, reading, and had an eloquent way of writing. His memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones.

Riley had great aspirations to one day become a music educator. He was a member of the National Honor Society, the Nebraska Wesleyan Symphonic Band, and a former member of the Lincoln East Marching and Symphonic bands.

Riley leaves to cherish his living memory, his parents, Don and Jo Kubik, brother David, twin brother Logan, grandparents Dave and Alice Stevens, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Riley is preceded in death by grandparents Dwayne and Sharon Kubik.

Rosary: 10:00 a.m. Saturday (9-30-17) St. Joseph Catholic Church, 7900 Trendwood Drive followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial at Calvary Cemetery, 40th & L St.

Memorials may be made to the Kubik Family for future designation.

No Visitation/Cremation.
