Share a Memory or Condolence
Late to learn of Phyllis’ passing but I wanted to pass on my condolences. My mom, Helen Willmeng, was a teacher at Clinton. I’ve heard stories over the years about teacher shenanigans and gatherings. I had the opportunity to speak via phone with Phyllis a couple years ago when my mom passed and was grateful for her help and for her kind words over the years.

Sending my condolences to Jeff and the Chambers family. Thoughts and prayers for comfort.

My ‘favorite’ aunt, I love her and I miss her. She always made me feel special. I got to take a very memorable vacation with her, Rudy and Jeff when I was fifteen. I’ll never forget how grown up that made me feel. Thinking of my family in Lincoln and Omaha during this time. Love, your ‘favorite’ niece, Cindy

My mom (Barb Everett) taught at Clinton School with Phyllis. I remember numerous stories that my mom shared – the summer picnics with many of the teachers, the great Halloween costumes Phyllis wore each year, and most of all her great sense of humor. Phyllis was a great friend to my mom. I will always have fond memories of her. I am so sorry to learn of her passing.
