Obituary

Pedro Enrique Guzman-Palacios

December 23, 2021 - April 19, 2022

Baby Pedro Enrique Guzman-Palacios passed away on Tuesday April 19, 2022. He was born on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 10:56 p.m.

He was 6lbs 12.6 ounces, 19.5 inches long. He was born to Efrain Guzman-Palacios and Kayla Blackmon in Lincoln at Bryan East Hospital.

Baby Pedro is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Louan Blackmon, maternal grandfather Frank Disley, maternal great grandmother Earlene Logan, and maternal great grandfather Willie Blackmon Sr., his paternal grandfather Augrelian Guzman, and great grandfathers Estaban Guzman and Pedro Palacios.

He is survived by his parents Efrain and Kayla, his two older brothers Dharius and Lionel, and his big sister MiaRose; his paternal grandmother and grandfather Arcadia and Randall Whitmore, paternal great grandmothers Isabel Palacios Martinez and Marina Guzman; his maternal grandfather Willie Blackmon and grandmothers Carmen Dedrick and Elaine Blackmon; many aunts, uncles, and cousins that will miss him dearly.

Pedro was a happy baby boy and he was always smiling, and giggling. Pedro loved being tickled by his older sister Mia. He liked getting caressed by his older brother Dharius, and loved to share his bottle with his older brother Lionel. Pedro also loved to watch tv with his siblings and loved to be held and be cuddled by his parents. Our babyboy brought joy to all of our lives. Pedro will live on in all of our hearts. His life was a gift to us that will live on as his heart valves were donated and received to two other babies that are in need. Pedro was loved by all who met him and he will be greatly missed.

We will always love you, our little angel.

A Celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street.
