Patricia (Pat) Ann Bryant, 78, of Lincoln, went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 26, 2016, surrounded by her family. She was born on May 16, 1937, in Milford, NE to Ruth (Sporer) and Vernon Petersen. Pat loved many things, including, Jesus, her family and friends, her dogs, watching Blue Bloods, the Nebraska Cornhuskers and eating sweets.
Pat was employed by the University of Nebraska – East Campus as a Secretary for the Agricultural Economics Teaching Department for 23 years. She was a long time member of Eastern Star – Columbia Chapter #275 and past Worthy Matron, VFW auxiliary post #131 and Capital City Christian Church. She will be missed dearly by her family and her friends.
Patricia is survived by her children, Ron (Wendy) Bryant; Jeff Bryant; Janee (Dennis) Polk, all of Lincoln; and Denise (Tom) Gibbens of Cozad; grandchildren, Kristin Polk; Staci (Scott) Foreman, of Lincoln; Kyle Gibbens; and Erin Gibbens, of Cozad; brother, Dan Petersen, of Lincoln. She is preceded in death by her parents, and sister-in-law, Caroline Petersen.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, May 10th, at Roper and Sons, 4300 O St, Lincoln, NE.
Memorials may be made to the family for future designation.
