Patricia Louise (Gordon) Spaulding

Patricia “Pat” Louise (Gordon) Spaulding, 82, from Lincoln, Nebraska passed away January 9, 2019. Born October 5, 1936 in Hutchinson, Kansas to Robert Roy and Rose Viola (Curry) Gordon. Retired office manager, University of Georgia (Department of Entomology), Athens, GA.

Pat was a very active church member and supporter of her alma mater, Union College, Lincoln, NE, where she met her husband.

Pat will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 62 years, James “Jim” Spaulding; children Susan (Jim) Jones, Ric (Cindy) Spaulding, Salli (Paul) Jenks; grandchildren Jim (Shelley) Jones II, Travis (Jennifer) Jones, Brittany (Dan) Sallee, Kevin (Macy) Spaulding, Megan (Nick) Sharon, and Mattison Jenks; great-grandchildren Carrington and James Jones III, Kalin and Kolton Sallee; siblings Ron Gordon and Jane (Dave) Cunningham; nieces and nephews Tammy (Steve) Miller, Todd (Jennifer) Gordon, Tyler (Erica) Gordon, Aaron (Carmen) Cunningham, Andrew (Heather) Cunningham; and many other loved great-nieces and nephews, and dear friends.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Phyllis.

Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. Monday (1-14-19) College View Seventh-day Adventist Church, 4801 Prescott Avenue, with private graveside service for family and close friends following in the College View Cemetery.

Memorials in lieu of flowers may be given to Children’s Ministries at College View Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Visitation one hour prior to service time.
