Opal E. Larson, 94, of Lincoln, passed away on September 7, 2016. She was born on October 25,1921 to Vincent and Mary (Snowden) Thomas in Lincoln, NE. Retired Head Librarian at Anderson Library. She graduated from UNL, and holds a Masters Degree in Library Science, from Denver University.
Opal is survived by her daughters, Nancy Green (Don) of Monument, CO, Lesley Larson of Napa, CA, grandchildren; Tom Green (Jennifer) of Lincoln, Elizabeth (Jason) Sherman, of Monument, CO; great grandchildren; Abby Green, Warren Green, and Henry Sherman. Preceded in death by her husband, Allan Larson; parents; Vincent and Mary Thomas.
Funeral service: 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 12th at Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street, Visitation: One hour prior to the service.
