Norman Paul Sundeen

March 21, 1934 - October 3, 2011

Norman Paul Sundeen, 77, Lincoln, died Monday (10-3-11). Born (3-21-34) in Lincoln, Nebraska to Paul Arthur Clarence and Pauline Irma (Curyea) Sundeen. Ret. Farmer and current Truck Driver for Mail Contractors of America for 28 years. Former Trustee, Deacon and Elder of Rosemont Alliance Church. Former Sunday School Superintendent and Teacher, Usher, Missionary Treasurer, former Youth Group Director and the “Candyman” for many years. Avid fisherman with many yearly trips with family and friends to Minnesota.

Family members include wife, Wilma Reiner Sundeen; daughters, sons-in-law, Renee and David Black, Papillion, Cherilynne and Daniel Piper, Hamilton, VA, Lani and John Bui, Anaheim, CA; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brothers, sisters-in-law, Marlin J. Sundeen and Phyllis Clifton, Lincoln, Dale C. and Beverly Sundeen, Davey, David L. and Marilyn Sundeen, Lincoln; sisters, brother-in-law, Ruth C. Kirk, Lincoln, Sallie A. and Delmer Semmen, Gold Canyon, AZ; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, brother-in-law Horace Kirk, sister-in-law Gail Sundeen and nephew J. R. Crow.

Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday (10-7-11) Rosemont Alliance Church, 2600 North 70th Street. Pastor Tim Majorins and Dr. David J. Sundeen, officiating. Prior private interment.

Memorials to the family for future designation.

Visitation: 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday with family greeting friends from 5:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. at Roper and Sons, 4300 ‘O’ Street, Lincoln.

The family would like to express their deep appreciation for the care and support of the Saint Elizabeth’s Hospice nurses.
