I worked with Norma at UNL for over 30 years. I was always delighted when I got to call her for something. She was kind, gentle, a great listener and an all around wonderful person. She was a valued member of the University community and her contributions to Housing specifically were immeasurable. My sympathies to her many friends and family.

I worked with Norma for the 33 years I was at UNL. I always enjoyed getting to catch up with her when I got to call her for something. She was a wonderful person – so very kind, gentle, thoughtful and you always knew Norma truly cared about you. She was an invaluable member of the university community and a delight to have as a colleague and friend. My sympathy to her family.

I knew Norma during our high school days at Plainview. Also kept in touch with her during the last years of her life. She had a long battle, and is now at peace with her Lord.

Norma was a delight and I will fondly remember her. She cracked me up one day by loudly modeling her speech therapy lessons. It was hilarious! I’m sorry for your loss. I am grateful to have known Norma, and that she is at peace. God Bless
