Michael L. Gale, Sr.

March 13, 1950 - January 1, 2025

Michael Lee Gale, Sr., 74, of Waverly, passed away on January 1, 2025. Born March 13, 1950, in Paris, IL to Kenneth and Emma (Taylor) Gale.

Michael served in the U. S. Navy for over 20 years and for 28 years he was an elevator repairman and inspector. He was a member of the International Union of Elevator Contractors IUEC #28.

Family members include his wife, Linda; sons Michael (Crystal) Gale, Jr., Mechanicsville, MD and Bradley (Rikki) Gale, China Lake, CA; stepchildren Jennifer (Todd) Goodrich, Trinidad, TX, Dean Osborne, Bellevue, NE, and Mikayla (Robert) Clover, Lincoln, NE; sisters Linda Richey (Jack), Sue Gale, and Pat Crouse; brothers Cliff, Tony, and David; 17 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, daughter Dawn Marie, brother Kenneth, and grandson Alex Milledge.

Celebration of Life Service: 11:00 am Monday, January 6, 2025, Roper and Sons Waverly Chapel, 10851 N. 148th Street. Entombment will be at 3:30 pm at Omaha National Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to the family.
