Michael D. Haskins, 76, of Lincoln, passed away on July 9, 2024, with family by his side. He was born on December 29, 1947, in Scottsbluff, NE, to Bill and Addie Lou (Meier) Haskins.

Michael worked as a City Inspector for Sidney, NE for many years, then moving to Lincoln working with the Department of Roads.

Family members include wife Rebecca of nearly 46 years; children Chad and Erin Haskins; Several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents and sister Kay.

No formal services will be held.

Memorials may be given to the family.

Mike and I were best friends in high school. He was my best man when I married my first wife. We lost touch over the years and I regret that. My condolences to his family. I had recently learned Mike was living in Lincoln and had planned to contact him. I regret I am too late.
