Maxwell E. Malone, 92, Neligh, NE, former longtime resident of Waverly, Nebraska, died Thursday (3-24-11) in Norfolk. Born (10-25-18) in rural Waverly, Nebraska to Frederick and Ruby (Holley) Malone. Ret. Farmer. WWII U.S. Army Air Corps Veteran. Member: First United Methodist Church, Waverly, Waverly Grange (50 yr member), Waverly Kiwanis, American Legion Post #402 (lifetime member), V.F.W. #9875, Hump Pilots Association. Recipient of an Honorary Lifetime Member award of the Waverly Community from the City of Waverly. Former sexton of the Rosehill-Waverly Cemetery.
