Mary Esther Stevens, 95, of Lincoln, passed away at the Legacy on 10-31-13. Born 5-22-18 in Des Moines, IA to Carl H. and Esther L. (Allen) Cummings. Homemaker. Member of First Christian Church, North Platte. Enjoyed playing cards, especially bridge and traveled extensively. Active supporter of Kiwanis Club and avid Husker supporter.
Survived by her sons, Ray (Karen) Stevens, Jr., Lincoln, and David Stevens, Mitchell, SD; daughter-in-law, Christine Stevens, Sioux Falls, SD; grandchildren, Kim (David) Zovak, Tianjin, China, Kelly (Jeff) Monzu, Omaha, NE, Geoff (Jenny) Stevens, Inver Grove Heights, MN and Brent (Shelley) Stevens, Cumming, GA; 7 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents and husband Ray.
Memorial Service: 1:00 pm Tuesday (11-12-13) Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ St. Private family committal of cremains.
Memorials in lieu of flowers to Donor’s Choice. No Visitation/Cremation.
