Mary Ann Zach, 83, of Lincoln went home to be with the Lord on June 26, 2022. Born April 13, 1939, in Beatrice, NE to Albert and Norma (Karpisek) Stehlik.
Mary Ann grew up on a farm near DeWitt, NE. She attended a rural school near Wilber and graduated from Wilber High School in 1957. She married Eugene ‘Gene’ Zach in Wilber, NE on June 7, 1957, celebrating their 60th Anniversary in 2017. Mary Ann and Gene lived and raised their family in Lincoln.
Mary Ann loved being a wife, mother, and homemaker. She had many hobbies including cooking, baking, needlework, reading, playing piano, Bingo and traveling. Her favorite annual event was to take the entire family to the Czech festival in Wilber, NE and never missed one.
Survivors include children and spouses David Zach, Denver, CO, and Barb and Jack Burke, Lincoln, daughter-in-law Christine Zach, grandsons Ryan Taylor and Cody Grape, Lincoln, Joshua Zach, Denver. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Gene, son Roy, and brother Norman Stehlik.
Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday (7-9-22) Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street, Lincoln NE
Visitation one hour prior to the service,
