Mary Agnes Carlisle, 93, Lincoln passed away December 11, 2018. Born May 8, 1925 in Sessoms, Georgia to Eli and Emma (Gibson) Simpson. Member of Church of Gospel Outreach.
Family members include her daughters Mary E. Butler, Lincoln, Willie P. Thomas, Corona, CA; 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; brothers Samuel Simpson and Mitchell (Cookie) Simpson, Douglas, GA, John S. (Gladys) Simpson, Atlanta, GA; sister Patsy L. Warren. Douglas, GA. Preceded in death by her parents; husband Elijah; daughter Betty Evans; son Robert Evans; sister Emma, Bessie and Eva; brothers Abraham and Nathanel.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday (12-18-18) Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ St. with Pastor Floyd Grant officiating. Burial in Wyuka Cemetery, Lincoln, NE.
Visitation: 2-8 p.m. Monday with family present from 2-4 p.m. at Roper and Sons.
