Survived by wife Mary of 57 years; children, Steven Gehr, Glenwood, IA, Diane (Nathan) White, Hickman, NE, Karen (Mark) Hamilton, Albuquerque, NM, David (Rachel) Gehr, Boulder, CO, Joe (Jodi) Gehr, Lincoln, NE, Alan Gehr (Greg Balmer), Chicago, IL, Kathleen (Thomas) Bizal, Lincoln, NE; 13 grandchildren; sister, Mary Ellen Korth, Omaha, NE. Preceded in death by parents, 2 brothers, 1 sister.
Funeral Service: 10:30 am Friday (3-15-13) Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street.
Memorials to Peoples City Mission, Matt Talbot Kitchen or the Food Bank of Lincoln.
Visitation: 2-8 pm Thursday with family present from 4-7 pm at Roper and Sons.
