Marvin G. Wulf

He entered a one room country school near Ruskin, NE. He enjoyed school and went on to graduate from Ruskin High School in 1949. He then helped his father on the farm.
In 1951, Marvin joined the U. S. Army Tank Division and was stationed in Germany. On his return to the farm in 1952 he farmed with his father until 1957 when he decided to seek other employment and moved to Lincoln, NE. He met the love of his life Sharon Vostrez and they were married March 9, 1958 at Peace Lutheran Church, Deshler, NE.

Marvin worked for the State of Nebraska Department of Roads as Quality Assurance Manager until 1995 when he retired to play his favorite game, golf. He loved, both golf and cards, and was active member of Sheridan Lutheran Church. He also was Trustee and with his wife taught Sunday School. He enjoyed visiting with extended family, and those at work and Church. God blessed him and his wife with two loving children and four grandchildren.

Marvin was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He could be counted on for good conversation and attention to what was important to you.

Family members include his wife, Sharon; daughter Lori Wulf-Roseman (Chris Roseman), St. Louis, MO; son Michael G. Wulf (Jennifer Wrightsman), Lincoln; grandchildren Cortland J. Roseman and Gabriella G. Roseman, Tiffany K. Wulf and Brittany R. Wulf. Preceded in death by his parents, sisters Faye Ann Ehlers and Adeline R. Wulf, brothers and sisters-in-law Kenneth Heinrichs, Lorraine Heinrichs, Gary Dallman, Peggy Dallman, and Bill Ehlers.

Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. Saturday (1-22-22) Sheridan Lutheran Church, 6955 Old Cheney Road. Masks are required.

Visitation with family present from 6-8 pm Friday at Roper and Sons South Lincoln Chapel, 3950 Hohensee Drive.
