Marion (Pauline) Harmon Hoffman, 81, Lincoln, died Tuesday, September 21, 2010 surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s. Pauline was born on June 27, 1929 to Cleo and Mildred (Sims) Harmon in Trumbull, Nebraska. She graduated from UNL with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and worked for Harrington Reality and ACTON. She was a long time active member of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, participating in leadership and guilds. Her community activities included Sigma Kappa, Daughters of the Nile, Eastern Star, Daughters of the American Revolution, Jobs Daughters and TTT.
Her family includes: daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Walter (Tom) Dick, Monroe, IA, Michelle and Marvin Adamson, Nenzel, NE, Julie and Ted Vorhies, Lincoln, NE, and Melanie and Richard Chancellor, Alexandria, MN; grandchildren, Joshua Dick; Ryan, Jeffrey (Wendy) Adamson; Topher, Ashley, Katie Vorhies; Bradley, Eric (Nicole Fast), Corey (HeidiJo), Connor Chancellor. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother DeMet Harmon as well as grandson Michael Dick.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Monday (9-27-10) St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, 2325 South 24th Street. Fr. Craig Gavin officiating. 4:00 p.m. burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Trumbull, Nebraska.
