When I think back to the days we lived by Marilyn on Capitol Beach Blvd, I see her big smile and always welcoming guests into her home. She was always upbeat and happy. I can still hear her chuckle when I close my eyes. A great lady and a good person.

Auntie M caught me doing wrong once, she scolded me, but in a loving way. To my knowledge, she never told my mother or mentioned it again. Another time was at a family reunion, I believe it was at the Issac Walton gun club, she was the Annie Oakley of our time. One of the most amazing women I’ll ever have the honor of knowing, she loved all of us kids as her own. Love you aunt Marilyn, RIP. Hug mom and aunt Harriet!
