Maria was kind and generous to all who came to her. I loved her smile and warm invitation to sit with her while she talked to her cats individually. Her stories about her life were intriguing, funny and heartfelt. I loved sitting and listening to Maria reminence. She will be dearly missed.

Maria was a lover of cats. I could hear her calling the strays to her front porch to feed. She had this high pitched kit kit with a little accent. I miss seeing her on her porch with all her feline buddies……. She walked everywhere. She loved talking to me about the plants in my yard and about her past.
