He also leaves behind his mother Louise Thurber of Edgar, NE. He is preceded in death by his stepfather Claude Thurber.
A Bronze Star recipient in the Vietnam War, Lynn grew up on a farm in Edgar where he developed a love for the outdoors that endured as a life-long passion for hunting and fishing. After high school, Lynn continued his education at Kearney State College, where he met Glenna, the love of his life. Lynn’s quick smile and deep, infectious laugh served him well during his career in sales.
Lynn took great pride in teaching his children all aspects of life. He spent countless summer hours coaching his children’s baseball and softball teams. In recent years, Lynn loved to play and read with his young grandchildren. Lynn was involved for more than twenty-five years with St. Mark’s United Methodist Church. He truly relished the friends he made at church, work, and in the community.
