Luella ”Lue” Griffith, 85, of Lincoln, died Monday (3-11-13). Born (2-5-28) in Tekamah, NE and adopted at age 6 by Noble and Edith (Weaver) Wicklund of Callaway, NE. Ret. School Teacher of Special Education for Plattsmouth Public Schools. Lived in Alabama and Florida for 22 years until 2007. Luella served as church organist in Foley, AL and Richey, FL. She was a member of the Saint Paul United Methodist Church.
Survived by her sons, Stephen Griffith, Lincoln, NE, Nate Griffith (Pat), Omaha, NE, Evan Griffith (Richard Ortiz), Kansas City, MO; 6 grandchildren, Jonathan Griffith, Jennifer James (Clive), Clifford Esquivel, Alexsander Campos, Anthony Campos, and Elizabeth Campos; great-grandson, Collin James; brother, Bern Tuttle, Newton, IA; brother-in-law, Bill Griffith (Jo), Cozad, NE; nieces and nephews.
