Obituary

Lisa Michelle Rothwell

January 12, 1974 - April 6, 2023

Lisa Michelle Rothwell, 49, of Lincoln Nebraska, passed away on April 6, 2023, laying next to her loving sister Tina after being surrounded by her mother Susan, brothers Bryan and Justin, sister in-laws, aunt, nieces, and nephews.

Although Lisa has been sent off to her next journey of life away from this Earth, we will carry her within us in our hearts for the end of time. Lisa left such an impression on those close and far from her. She is known for always being so kind and uplifting, caring and full of life. Lisa rarely ever had anything negative to say. Lisa loved her family and bragged so much about every single one of them. She loved her mom more than anything in this world, protected her siblings her entire life here on this earth, and loved each and every single one of her nieces and nephews in each of their own individual ways. Lisa was able to spoil her great nephews endlessly while preparing to welcome another.

Lisa will no longer endure anymore pain that she had so bravely encountered in the last few months. We may have to let Lisa go physically here on this earth but forever her spirit and charismatic heart will be carried through those around her till the end of time. Lisa gained her wings to fly and watch over her loved ones here on this earth. Lisa has been greeted again by her granny, friend Jeff, dog Angel and many others. Lisa was an astonishing daughter, sister, aunt, niece, and friend to many.

The funeral service will be held on April 13,2023 at 11:00 AM at Calvary Community Church (4400 N 1st St Lincoln NE, 68521.) Followed by a coffee/cookie social after the service in the church. Arrangements of this day are being handled by the family of such a loved woman. Any donation will be directed to Roper and Sons or Calvary Community Church to be given to the family.

Was there when she was born. Went away for a long time but she treated me as if I had never left. I will miss our chats. My heart goes out to the family. And my love.
