Linda D. Minchow, 58, lifetime resident of Lincoln, died Friday (1-15-10). Born (4-21-51) in Lincoln, Nebraska to Robert L. and Dorothy J. (Shultz) Brooks. Deli Associate – Walmart. Newspaper carrier for 11 years. Member: Heartlands Church of Christ. Enjoyed spending time with grandchildren, working outdoors in her garden and her dogs.
Family members include sons, daughters-in-law: Stephen C. and Alana Minchow, Jr., Palmyra, Sean M. and Ruth Minchow, Pleasant Dale; grandchildren: Dakota, David, Warren, Micah, Mark, Victoria, Hannah and Naomi; sisters, brothers-in-law: Gloria and Mike Tune, Safety Harbor, FL, Brenda “Susie” Engstrom, Debra Mathiesen, both of Lincoln, Gayla and Davis DeRock, Augusta, KS; brothers, sisters-in-law: Gary E. and Pamela Brooks, Hickman, Robert L. Brooks, Jr., Ronald A. Brooks, Donald E. and Lisa Brooks, all of Lincoln; uncle: Darrell ‘Dean’ Shultz, Guide Rock; numerous nieces, nephews. Preceded in death by parents, aunt Gwen, granddaughter Victoria.
Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Thursday (1-21-10) Lincoln Church of Christ, 5640 Vine St. Pastor Jim Tuttle officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetery.

Visitation: 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday with family greeting friends from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Roper and Sons, 4300 ‘O’ St.
