Kristin Marie Carranza, 44, of Lincoln, passed away October 14, 2014. Born October 10, 1970 in Fullerton, CA to Louis Robert and Kathryn Marie (Dixon) Carranza. A devoted volunteer at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital Cafeteria, 5 days a week, 6,000 hours over 10 years. Known to others as a cheerful and helpful volunteer. All visitors to the cafeteria enjoyed seeing and knowing Kristin. She was involved in many social activities at Lincoln Racquet Club and the Celebrate Recovery Program at Lincoln Berean Church.
Family members include her mother, Kathryn Marie Dixon; father, Louis Robert Carranza and brother, Steven Dixon Carranza. Preceded in death by grandparents, Jack and Marie Dixon and aunt Christine Dutter.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday (10-21-14) Lincoln Berean Church, 6400 South 70th with Pastor Bob Rice officiating. Closed casket visitation from 2-8 p.m. Monday with family greeting friends from 6-8 p.m. at Roper and Sons, 4300 ‘O’ Street.
