Kolby Lee Baber

May 31, 1990 - August 17, 2021

Kolby Lee Baber, 31, of Lincoln passed away August 17, 2021. Born May 31, 1990, in Lincoln, NE to Robert and Kristal (Horky) Baber.

Kolby served as Corrections Officer with the Department of Corrections at the Community Corrections Center in Lincoln. He was a member of Christ Place Church.

Kolby was a devoted husband, father, and family man, a gentle giant, was always calm and collected, and made everyone smile. His biggest joy in life was spending time with his daughter and wife. He also enjoyed motorcycles, guns, golf, and going to the zoo and spending time with his dog.

Family members include his wife, Kelani; six-year-old daughter Kenley; mother Kristal Baber; sisters Kylee (Dan) Slocum and Jade Baber; brother Jeff (Katie) Baber; brother-in-law Travis Estencion; sister-in-law Reena Estencion; nieces and nephews Harper and Jack Slocum, Brook and Joel Baber, Emma Estencion, Alex LoBue and Mando Paz; parents-in-law Clay (Megan) Heath, Kim (Jeremy) Wells, and Jordan Estencion.

Preceded in death by his father Bob Baber and two infant children born at rest.

Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Monday (8-23-21) Christ Place Church, 1111 Old Cheney Rd with Pastor Lance Riley officiating.

Memorials to the family.

Visitation will be from 4-6 pm Sunday at Roper & Sons South Lincoln Chapel, 3905 Hohensee Drive.
