Kenneth L. Wilson, 93, formerly of Bennet, passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2012 at Tabitha Journey House in Lincoln. Kenneth was born June 14, 1919 in Blue Springs, Nebraska to Edgar and Inez (Fettey) Wilson and spent much of his childhood near Adams. He attended Adams High School. He married Ruth Languis in Adams in 1942. The resided most of their lives in Adams and Bennet. Kenneth worked in the grain elevator business in Bennet, Syracuse and Lincoln where he retired from Lincoln Grain.
Kenneth is survived by his children: Don (Diana) Wilson, Dennis (Lu) Wilson, all of Lincoln; Steve (Pat) Wilson, Exeter, NH, Barbara (El) Schaefer, Denver, CO, Joni (Ed) Clark, Cheyenne, WY, Cindi (Tom) Osborne, Greeley, CO; 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Ruth, brothers Harry and Sam Wilson, sisters Opal Fischer and Bernice Lefferdink.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street. Pastor Rusty Miller officiating. Burial in the Highland Cemetery, Adams, NE.
