Kari Lyn Worm, 40 Lincoln, passed away from this life on Tuesday (9-15-09) with her parents by her side at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN after a courageous battle with Monopolysaccharide.
Born (3-8-69) in Lincoln, Nebraska to Jerald and Lynda (Howard) Worm of Lincoln. She was a graduate of Northeast High School and attended the University of Nebraska. Kari was co-owner and office manager of Country Floral and Gifts. Kari had a deep love for animals, NASCAR, country music, horse back riding, dancing and cooking. Her laugh and genuine love of others will be sadly missed by all of her family, friends and so many who were blessed to know her.
Kari is survived by her parents, her contact canine companion, Lindberg and many aunts and uncles, and over one hundred cousins. She was preceded in death by grandparents, John and Mildred Howard, Delbert and Dorthy Worm, aunts, Joy Ray and Sandy Griffith, uncles, Dean Howard and Michael Worm.
Memorial Service: 1:30 p.m. Monday (9-21-09) St. Lukes United Methodist Church, 1621 Superior Street with Pastor Dan Safarik officiating.
Private family viewing 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Roper and Sons, 4300 ‘O’ Street.
