Kalub was my good loyal former neighbor who always hit me up to go hoop at his backyard and sometimes go fishing and to the gym I’ve always wanted to get Kalub to get fit before his basketball game at the gym. he was a good dude and always motivated and hype and have that energy when it come to basketball. He use to always tell me come play NBA 2k. Kalub was a good person to others and his best friend blaze. I know Kalub pretty well since I first met him since day one when he was in middle school. Every time we hang and leave at the end of the day he always told me to look out for him. I’ve had so many memories with Kalub he was like a family to me. Rest in Peace Kalub I’ll see you in heaven god got your back🕊️🤝💯

I met Kalub at the YMCA when we were in 6th grade, have played basketball with him ever since. He was always full of energy and could brighten up a room with his humor and smile. I will remember him for that. My condolences go out to his family and friends.

I played basketball with Kalub in middle school and worked at the Y he would go to. Our team wasn’t good, but he was by far our best player and made playing way more enjoyable. He lifted the energy anywhere he went. I’ll remember him as a leader and a great friend.
