Judy L. Hempel, 70, Lincoln, passed away July 31, 2020. Born July 16, 1950 in Beatrice, NE to Samuel and Loretta (Rice) Metcalf.
Judy was an administrative assistant at High Plains Alzheimer’s Special Care Center. She was a member of P.E.O. Chapter HE.
Family members include her husband of 50+ years Don Hempel; daughter Michelle (Jeff) Petersen; sons Thomas (Jill) Hempel and Broc (Tatiana Toshimitsu) Hempel; grandchildren Sydney, Kaden, Conner and Bryce Petersen, Ryan and Ben Hempel, and Julian Hempel; brother Tracy Metcalf; sisters Chris Minnick, Rennie Austin, and Trudy Metcalf; sister-in-law JoAnn Bomberger; nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her parents; brothers-in-law Jim and Thomas Hempel.
