Judith R. Jewett, 89, of Lincoln passed away April 7, 2025. Born July 6, 1935, in Pawnee City, NE to Marion and Doris (Scherer) Sargent.

Dr. Paul and Judith served as missionaries for the Presbyterian Church USA in India, Africa, and Haiti.

Family members include her children Maritza (Michael) Granger, E. Miguel (Dena) Jewett, John (Steven) Jewett, Matthew Jewett, Kamala Jewett, and Nalini Jewett; grandchildren Nicholas Jewett, Alexandra Granger, Michael Paul Granger, and Adam Jewett; sister M. Joan Fanders; many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul, son Jay Soundsleeper Jewett, and brother James Sargent.

Memorial service: 11:00 A.M., Saturday, June 14th, 2025 at Eastridge Presbyterian Church, 1135 Eastridge Drive.
