Having just moved back to Lincoln last week, I decided to look up Judy, and am so sad to learn of her death. Judy was a wise, compassionate, and exceedingly kind presence in my life as I raised my children as a single mom in the 90’s. I have thought of her often over the years. She made a huge difference in my life, and I count her among my blessings. This many years after her passing, I hope that Judy’s family and friends have found peace in beloved memories.

I just learned of Judith’s passing…and was deeply saddened. My son saw her as a boy and he loved her. She was so kind and reassuring to us as parents. She was an amazing advocate for children and I’m sure remembered by more than we will ever know.

Though I won’t be at her celebration of Life today, I am doing exactly what she and I would be doing together today, feeding her beloved Arabian horse family at the Lincoln show. Her soul will forever shine through those she helped and loved on this Earth. A $100.00 donation has been made in her honor to the ShelterMeNebraska nonprofit that she so proudly fostered pets for victims of domestic abuse until they could safely get their pets back. My prayers are with you all, but my heart knows her soul is happily playing with her favorite animals and Chuck by her side in Heaven. Deepest sympathy

‘‘Of all our possessions, friends are the most precious”. Judy walked into our lives and into a beautiful friendship with us a mere 2 years ago. We journeyed together through a number of wonderful moments as well as some sad moments. What fond memories will always linger in our hearts, especially the summer fun in our pool! Willow, (one of her dogs), Thunder (her pony), and Thor (her cat) will be with us now to daily remind us of those memories that will ever flood our souls!

Every horseshow we saw Judy at was a special meeting. She loved my grandchildren and they loved her special hugs. So many wonderful lunches she prepared selflessly for us at the shows. A special lady only desires this beautiful person. Our family will miss her hug hugs and bright smile

I’ve gotten the pleasure of knowing miss Judy the past months through my work. She was such a bright and gentle soul. It made my day knowing when I came into work, I got to see her smiling face. We’d often joke and laugh about pretty much any topic. I even brought my daughter up to see her at one point on one of my days off since we would constantly talk about her and the way her face lit up when she saw her will forever be one of my favorite memories. I will miss seeing her beautiful smile and sense of humor that made coming into work more bearable. Prayers to her family has they mourn such a beautiful person, inside and out.
