Jon and Ashley were the perfect couple. They were both committed to family and to each other. I remember when Jon was working at the Gold’s building when I was working there. Everytime you would run into Jon, he had a smile on his face and a positive attitude. Jon was always willing to talk about anything, but we discussed Nebraska football a lot. Jon, you will be missed by many, including Linda and I. Prayers for Ashley and the kids and the entire family. RIP my friend

My sincere sympathies to the McWilliams family. I had the pleasure to be a position coach in football for Jon at Lincoln High. As a player, Jon was talented, hardworking, and had a great attitude. From what I read in his obituary and no surprise to me, these qualities followed him in his life. May God be your refuge and provide comfort to you all.

I had the pleasure of working with Jon, and through that connection, we became friends. Our paths crossed often, usually in the stands at Lincoln High events. He had such a gentle, calming way about him. I will never forget his sweet smile and the sparkle in his eyes.

Our deepest heartfelt condolences from our branch of family. My husband, Derek McWilliams (Kendall & Theresa’s grandson) did not realize that he shared a name! Derek also has a sister sharing the name Camille! Wow.

I remember when Jon and Ashley visited me in Colorado years ago before marriage and children. Such a loving couple! It didn’t surprise me when they married and went on and made a beautiful, happy life together. He was truly the epitome of a man’s man. Jon adored his wife and children. The world was a better place with Jon in it! My condolences to his wife, children and family. I know each of you will miss your beacon of light. May God bless you all during this difficult time.
